Any clicks on websites and ads
Video Tutorial on Creating an Advertising Campaign
In this ad campaign, you can configure any clicks on your website yourself (using a template for verification)—up to 10 clicks on any links or banners.
This means that users will follow the instructions you set when creating the campaign and click on the specified links. To create this ad campaign, click the “Add Ad Campaign” button on the main campaign management page (menu item: “Your Websites”):

Next, select “Visitors” — “Any Clicks and Paths on Websites/Ads” and fill in the required fields:
In the Website URL field, enter the website you plan to promote. The address must begin with http:// or https:// (for example, http://sites.ru).
In the Daily Visits field, specify the number of visits (page views) to your website per day.
In the “Distribute” field, select how you want traffic to be distributed to the site:
- Natural – more impressions during the day, fewer at night.
- Even – impressions are distributed evenly over time.
- Only from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. – distribution is limited to the 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. time range; at other times, impressions for your site will be paused.
Pause – The amount of time a visitor spends on the page (until the next click).
Instruction – A text prompt explaining to visitors where to click, for example, “Click on the ‘Contact Us’ link.”
Click verification template – This is the part of the URL (address) used to verify the click. This means that the link the user clicks on must contain the specified URL. For example, if we were ordering clicks on any page of our website, we would simply enter ipweb.ru in this field. If, however, we need a click on the page.html page, we would specify ipweb.ru/page.html. If you don’t know which website will open, just enter http (this is a universal template).
New Window – the additional click will open in a new window.
Hide system usage (empty Referer)—if this option is checked, your site won’t appear in the “sources” that “link” to it, etc. Visits will be the same as if users were typing your site’s address into their browser or accessing it from bookmarks or favorites.
Receive email statistics – statistics on your site’s promotion will be sent to your email daily.
Fluctuations (+/-) – a random deviation in the number of visits, either higher or lower than expected. For example, for 100 visits per day and a 5% fluctuation, the daily traffic distribution will range from 95 to 105 visits: Mon – 97, Tue – 103, Wed – 100, and so on.
After configuring the necessary fields, click the “Save” button.
Examples of Campaigns Based on Typical Scenarios
In this section, we describe typical scenarios for adding an ad campaign. You can use these as a reference to ensure you’re filling out the fields for your ad campaign correctly.
Clicks on ads on the website
Please note that the Referer header is missing if:
- the user enters the URL directly into the browser’s address bar;
- the user accessed the site via bookmarks;
- the request transitions from HTTPS to HTTP;
- the request leads from HTTPS to various URLs using the HTTPS protocol;
- security software (antivirus, firewall, etc.) has sanitized the request;
- A proxy server has sanitized the request;
- a browser plugin has stripped the request;
- the site was accessed programmatically (e.g., using curl) without setting a referrer header;
- This is prevented by the referrer meta tag;
- This allows the referrer meta tag; This allows it, but the browser does not support it.
Thus, when switching from HTTPS to HTTP, the referrer is not passed, and as a result, clicks in web analytics tools (such as Yandex.Metrica or Google Analytics) are identified as “direct visits.”
