Artificial Boosting of Website Traffic
This advertising campaign will help you improve visitor behavior on your website.
Users will go to a search engine (Yandex/Google/Bing/YouTube/Mail.ru), enter a keyword, and be directed to the advertiser’s website. You can specify additional actions: filling out forms, social media interactions after arriving at the website from a search, and other actions that do not contradict typical user behavior.
Please note that:
- When ordering visitors from search results, your website must appear on one of the first ten pages of results so that users can find it.
- The task completion time and the total number of actions performed must not exceed the 5-minute time limit.
- Ordering additional actions is only permitted within a single social network.
- The form to be filled out must contain no more than 15 fields.
How do I order visitors from organic (search) results?
To create this advertising campaign, click “Promotion” — “Your Websites” — “Add Advertising Campaign.”
Under “Promotion Types,” select “Search Traffic + On-Site Actions” and fill out the required fields:
In the Website URL field, enter the website you plan to promote. The URL must begin with http:// (for example, http://sites.ru).
In the “Daily Actions” field, specify the number of visits (clicks, actions taken) to your website per day.
In the “Distribute” field, select how you want to distribute traffic to your site:
- Natural — more impressions during the day, fewer at night.
- Even — impressions are distributed evenly over time.
- Only from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. — distribution within the 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. time range; at other times, impressions for your site will be paused.
Fluctuations (+/-) — a random deviation in the number of visits, either higher or lower. For example, for 100 visits per day and a 5% fluctuation, the daily traffic distribution will range from 95 to 105 visits: Mon — 97, Tue — 103, Wed — 100, and so on.
The remaining ad campaign settings are configured as follows:
- Select the search engine you want to drive traffic from (Yandex or Google).
- Enter the search term that visitors will use to find your site.
- Specify what the page title looks like on the specified page (if necessary).
- Specify any necessary additional actions.
- Specify on which page your site can be found (within the first ten pages of search results).
You can use keyword aggregation (grouping) within a single ad campaign. For a domain, within a single ad campaign, you can add a group of keywords from a file or the clipboard. See Aggregated Ad Campaigns.

After configuring the fields, click the “Save” button.
To access the geotargeting settings, after creating a campaign, click the “Settings” icon in the “Action” column next to the campaign’s name on the “My Sites” page.
In the window that opens, go to the “Geographic Targeting” tab.
When creating a “Search-to-Site + On-Site Actions” ad campaign, take into account the geographic nature of search queries.
There are two types of search queries:
- geo-dependent: for example, “buy a TV”—the region isn’t specified, so the search engine will determine it based on your device’s geolocation;
- non-geo-dependent: for example, “buy a TV in Moscow.”
Search results depend on the region from which the query originates. If your site appears on the first page in your region, it may appear on the second or even the tenth page in another region. Be sure to set up geographic targeting for the desired region.
Your search results are influenced by your previous search queries. To get an objective view of your website’s actual rankings, perform the search in incognito mode. To find out where your website ranks in search results across different search engines and regions, use the Topvisor.com search engine ranking checker.
It’s important that the instructions for task performers be written clearly and in detail. This will make it easier for users to complete the task correctly. It will be easier for moderators to verify completion, since all tasks in this type of advertising campaign are checked manually by moderators using screenshots. And you’ll be able to achieve the expected and predictable results.
